This year, students made a Civil War battle map with Google My Maps. The class contributions are coded by shape and the battle outcomes are by color. Each group of three or four researched a battle, summarized the event, included an image, and a website for further reading.

ReplyDeleteI wanted to do the exact same thing with my regular ed. US I History class. I am searching the web for how to use Google MY maps...I"m not that familiar with it yet. Do you have a how-to sheet that you made for students?? For instance how did you get them to draw the stars and diamonds on there? I need help! Thanks
